We are very excited to share that our popular Glossy table lamp designed by Danish designer Maria Berntsen has won a Red Dot Design Award 2021. A close and flourishing collaboration with designer Maria Berntsen has resulted in a Red Dot Design Award for Design For The People for the fifth consecutive year. Glossy is honoured with the prestigious award for outstanding design and quality in the category “Lighting Design”.
The Red Dot Design Award is a prestigious award given for outstanding design and quality. Only products, projects and concepts that stand out with their exceptional design are awarded this coveted seal of quality by an international jury.

Originally Glossy was thought to be a smaller, portable lamp, but since evolved through the creative design process into an exclusive table lamp carried out in a material mix of marble, opal white glass and elegant
brass details. The combination of materials is perfectly matched, but at the same time creates interesting contrasts. The almost suspended glass shade is elegantly contrasted by the heavy marble base, both beautifully intertwined by the brushed brass details.
A pleasant, softened light shines through the lightweight shade – and the shiny surface maintains its’ special glow, even when the light is turned off.
